What is MCP?
MCP is the standard that lets an AI assistant use an outside service. You connect Spottable once, sign in, and then ask for Marketplace listings in plain English.
Which assistants work with Spottable?
ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode have guided setup on this page. Other assistants work when they support remote MCP connections and OAuth. Pi can connect through an MCP extension because MCP is not built into Pi itself.
Do I need to give Spottable my Facebook login?
No. You never hand over your Facebook password or connect your Facebook account. You sign in to Spottable, and Spottable does the looking.
So what can it actually do?
It searches Marketplace, opens listings to read the details and photos, and can analyze the price, condition and red flags before you contact the seller.
How do Spottable credits work?
Assistant tools use the same credit balance as the rest of Spottable. A search or listing lookup uses 1 credit. A fresh AI analysis uses 1 credit, while a matching previous analysis is free. Every response tells you what it used and what is left.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your assistant stays connected and Spottable tells you the balance is empty with a link to buy more. Paid plans also refresh their monthly credits.
What happens if I downgrade?
The connection stays in place. Marketplace searches pause until Pro or Max access returns, and your assistant explains how to restore it. Nothing needs to be set up a second time.
Can I disconnect an assistant?
Yes. Every connected assistant is listed in your Spottable dashboard with the date it was connected and last used, and you can remove any of them instantly.
Are there any usage limits?
There is a fair-use ceiling of 100 searches and 200 combined listing lookups, photo requests or analyses per hour.
I want messages sent automatically. What should I use?
Something else. Spottable is read-only and will never message a seller for you. Tools built for that include FB Auto Reply AI, Nerdy Panda and GetReplyNow. None of them are ours or affiliated with Spottable, and automating Facebook messages can run against Facebook's own rules, so read those before switching anything on.
