Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Spottable's apps, website, browser extension, or supported AI assistant connections (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Spottable is a marketplace deal-finding application that helps users discover listings on Facebook Marketplace. We provide cleaner search, AI-powered deal scoring, scam checks, and paid saved-search monitoring with notifications, and read-only Marketplace search and listing tools for supported AI assistants.
Important: Spottable is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. We aggregate publicly available information to help you find deals.
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
- One person may not maintain more than one account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use automated systems or bots to access the Service except through a supported Spottable integration or with our written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Use the service to spam or harass sellers or other users
Subscription Services
Free Tier
Basic features are available at no cost, including up to 3 AI analyses per day on supported surfaces.
Paid Subscriptions
Paid plans unlock background saved searches, hourly monitoring, notifications, larger monthly AI allowances, and other plan-specific features. Eligible paid plans may include access through supported AI assistants after the first payment is confirmed. Trials and unpaid or past-due subscriptions do not include that access.
- Subscriptions may be billed through the Apple App Store or our supported web billing provider
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel a subscription through the store or billing provider used for the purchase
- Refunds are handled according to the applicable store or billing provider's policies
AI Assistant Connections
You can choose to connect a supported AI assistant to your Spottable account. The connection is read-only: it can search Marketplace and inspect listings, but it cannot contact sellers, buy items, or change your saved searches. Search results and AI-generated answers may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate, so verify important listing details yourself.
- You are responsible for activity requested through your connected AI assistant account
- Your Spottable plan and fair-use limits continue to apply
- The AI assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy also apply
- You can revoke the connection from your Spottable account at any time
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy or completeness of marketplace listings
- That all deals identified are actually good deals
- The availability or reliability of the service
- That the service will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spottable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
We are not responsible for any transactions or disputes between you and sellers on Facebook Marketplace. All purchases are made at your own risk.
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Spottable and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
